A 38-year-old Somerset man died Saturday evening after he lost control of his vehicle and it rolled over in a town of Star Prairie ditch.
Tony S. Bushinger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from his 2002 Chevrolet Suburban and died at the scene. His vehicle rolled and came to rest on its roof, with Bushinger pinned beneath.
Bushiner was eastbound on 205th Avenue when he apparenly lost control and entered the south ditch. The scene was about a quarter-mile east of 80th Street.
The accident was reported at 6:41 p.m.
Responding with deputies to the scene were New Richmond firefighters, EMS and rescue along with first responders from Star Prairie.
Bushinger's death is the fifth on St. Croix County roads this year.
The accident remains under investigation.
