Blackman finishes second at Bi-State
Shane Blackman had the highest individual finish at the Bi-State Wrestling Classic for New Richmond.
LA CROSSE - Shane Blackman had the highest individual finish at the Bi-State Wrestling Classic for New Richmond.
Blackman finished second at 113 pounds. He lost a close match in the finals Saturday evening at the La Crosse Center by a 5-3 score to Ben Thorton of La Crosse Central.
The Tigers finished seventh in their division with 137 points scored.
Also placing for New Richmond individually were Derek Dowd, seventh at 120 pounds and Abram Anderson, fifth at 132 pounds.
