Blackman eliminated from state tournament
New Richmond's Shane Blackman's run in the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament was ended this morning as he lost in the consolation round at the Kohl Center.
MADISON - New Richmond's Shane Blackman's run in the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament was ended this morning as he lost in the consolation round at the Kohl Center.
Blackman, a junior, was beated by freshman Eddie Smith of Sauk Prairie by a 17-2 technical fall at 113 pounds in Division 1.
Blackman's regular season record is a final 32-5.
