Bucks can’t stop Jazz or losing streak

The Milwaukee Bucks blew an 11-point lead in the final five minutes Thursday night and lost to the Utah Jazz 114-110 at the Bradley Center.

The Bucks recovered from a 16-point deficit of their own in the first quarter, but they couldn’t hold on at the end.

Ronnie Brewer made two free throws to tie the game with 1:33 to go. Carlos Boozer made a lay-up with 46 seconds left to put the Jazz in front for good.

Michael Redd and Charlie Villanueva each scored 26 points to lead Milwaukee. It was Redd’s 500th regular season game. Charlie Bell had 24 points off the bench on his 29th birthday.

The Bucks out-rebounded Utah with the help of 15 boards by Andrew Bogut. Deron Williams had 26 points and 13 assists for the Jazz, who have now won six of their last seven.

The Bucks have lost four straight and seven of their last eight and they’ll host Boston Saturday night.
