Committee recommends Georgia Thompson gets $229,000 for legal fees
Georgia Thompson is one step closer to getting her legal fees paid for. The Legislature’s Joint Finance Committee recommended Wednesday that the state procurement official receive $229,000, to cover her costs of defending allegations that she rigged a state contract.
