Red Cottage Montessori teacher Kai Coyle and students Mary Ellen Robertson, Indy Judd and Hannah Tomanek-Titus point to examples of geographic formations along Hay Creek Trail. The students are learning the differences between formations such as islands, peninsulas, isthmuses and lakes. They explored the creek behind their school Tuesday to try to find examples of some of the formations.
