Somerset Police Officer Joshua Hecht (left) was presented the Somerset Police Department Medal for Life Saving at the Village of Somerset Board meeting on Tuesday, March 20. Somerset Police Chief Doug Briggs said Hecht received the award for his response to an incident on Feb. 15.
