Stacy Toenjes, center, lives and works in Somerset with her two sons, Bryce and Benjamin, while her husband, Mike, works more than 10 hours away in the oil fields of Crosby, N.D. Toenjes said she thought Mike was joking when he told her about the job in Crosby. Now, more than a year later, the family is still making it work.
