Margaret Ann Knutson, age 100 years, 9 months and 20 days, from New Richmond, Wis., died on May 7, 2009 at the St. Croix Health Center. She was born on July 17, 1908 in New Richmond, Wis. to William and Margaret (Crotty) Henry.

She was born on July 17, 1908 in New Richmond, Wis. to William and Margaret (Crotty) Henry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son-in-law, Patrick Murtha; grandson Dennis Murtha; two brothers and two sisters.
Margaret is survived by her children, Constance (Harold) Ward, Rosalie Murtha, June (Robert) Fitzer, Gene Knutson, Diane (Edward) Mantyla; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. was Monday, May 11, 2009 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment was in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Cylon, Wis.
Pallbearers were Roger Fitzer, Daniel Fitzer, Gregory Ward, Joe Schneider, Mike Mantyla and Kevin Croes. Father Leonard Fraher presided at the funeral Mass.
The organist was Barb Peterson and the soloist was Maureen Kilian.
