Rita (Germain) Richard, Somerset, Wis., age 86, died on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
She was born in New Richmond, Wis., on July 11, 1925, to John D. and Berengere (LaVenture) Germain.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ella, Claire, Doris Germain, Mae (Tom) Mitchell; brothers Delore (Elsie), Andrew (Veneta), Urban, Donald, Dennis.
She was a 1943 NRHS graduate. Rita's true love was her family, and she was a proud employee of 3M for 43 years. Rita loved traveling and going to piano bars to sing, dance, and laugh.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (John) Bjorklund, Mary (David) Bjorklund; sisters-in-law Pauline Germain, Velma Germain; brothers Leo Germain, Ralph (Dianne) Germain; as well as her grandchildren, Nicole, Joseph, Andrew, Julie, and Christina; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jackson, Camryn, Riley, Gia, Johnny, and Colton.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Somerset. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service at the church. Interment St. Anne's Cemetery.
