Sieghart L. Wulff, age 74, of Glenwood City, Wis., died Thursday, Dec. 29, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire, Wis.
Sieghart L. Wulff, age 74, of Glenwood City, Wis., died Thursday, Dec. 29, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire, Wis.
Sieg was born June 20, 1937 in the Twp. of Forest, Wis., to Carl and Lucille (Hill) Wulff. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Twp. of Forest, where he was a lifelong member and served many years on the church council. He attended grade school in the Forest Twp. and later graduated from Glenwood City High School. Sieg married Carolyn Aeschliman Platson Aug. 18, 1970, in Glenwood City. He farmed with his father and later by himself until 1974 when went to work for Friday Canning Co in New Richmond, Wis., until retiring from Chiquita Processed Foods on May 31, 2002.
He enjoyed hunting, traveling on his annual Branson trip, and visiting with family and friends.
Sieg was preceded in death by his parents.
Sieg is survived by son, Johnathan Wulff and wife, Amy, of Loveland, Colo.; grandchildren, Jacob and Emily Wulff; stepdaughters, Deanna Cormican and husband, Jim, of Clear Lake, Wis., and Inga Dobosz and husband, Brad, of Twp. of Forest; step-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Scott, Chris, Bob, and Kevin, Matt and Amber Dobosz. He is furthers survived by niece Michelle Aeschliman; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Reverend Douglas Brandt officiating. Interment of cremains will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 12-2 p.m. Saturday at the church.
