Donald "Don" Gary Borgen, age 68, of New Richmond, Wis., was pronounced dead Friday, March 2, at his home.
Donald "Don" Gary Borgen, age 68, of New Richmond, Wis., was pronounced dead Friday, March 2, at his home.
Don was born on March 16, 1943 in Baldwin, Wis., the son of Glenn and Doris (Dopkins) Borgen. Don was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Don grew up in Baldwin and has lived most of his life in New Richmond. Don enjoyed NASCAR racing, garage sale-ing, and especially enjoyed all of his Waylon Jennings music.
Don is survived by his mother, Doris Lindquist of New Richmond; his sister Barb; his two sons, Greg and Kyle; two grandsons; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Don was preceded in death by his father, Glenn, and brother, Howard.
Funeral services for Don will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, at the Cashman-Hill Funeral Home, River Falls, Wis. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the funeral on Tuesday.
