Ambrose Charles Potting, age 81, New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday March 8, at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond.

Ambrose Charles Potting, age 81, New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday March 8, at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond.

He was born on Nov. 25, 1930, in Farmington, Wis., to Leonard and Mathilda (Jahnke) Potting. Ambrose served during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Bernice, Kenneth, Michael; and his beloved wife, Arloa (Kunze).

Ambrose worked proudly at Andersen Windows for 39 years.

He is survived by his loving children, Pamela (Kevin) Viebrock, Randy (Colleen) Potting, Michelle (Gasper) Campeau, Gregory (Mary) Potting; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; siblings Leonard, Beatrice, Helen, Wallace, Raymond, Lucille, Maryann, Darlene, Charles, Dennis, Donald, Lorraine.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Somerset, Wis. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Monday, March 12, and also 1 hour prior to the service, all at the church. Interment Cylon Cemetery.
