Mabel E. Winquist-Erickson, 98

Mabel E. Winquist-Erickson of Star Prairie, formerly of St. Paul, died Tuesday, March 13, at the St. Croix Health Center, at the age of 98.

Mabel E. Winquist-Erickson of Star Prairie, formerly of St. Paul, died Tuesday, March 13, at the St. Croix Health Center, at the age of 98.

Mabel was born Nov. 8, 1913, in Nebraska, to Arthur C. and Agnes Figg. She attended school in Bruno, Minn., through the eighth grade. In 1936 she married Winfield W. Winquist in St. Paul. After Winfield's death she married Leonard Erickson in 1981 in St. Paul. She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield and Quality Park Envelope Company. In her free time, she enjoyed square dancing, bowling, knitting, music, family, and church activities.

Grateful thank you's to all of the staff at St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond.

Mabel was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Winfield and Leonard; brother, Ernest Figg; sister, Irene Hammer; and son-in-law Kenneth L. Stob.

She is survived by son, Dean (Joyce) Winquist of Roseville; daughter, Lorna Stob of Star Prairie; grandchildren, Karen, William, Tim, Colleen, Carolyn, Craig; great-grandchildren, Adam, Emily, Thomas, Matt, Allison, Nathan, Ryan, Veronica, Annajoy, and Katelyn.

Funeral services were held Saturday, March 17, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Osceola. Interment at Elmhurst Cemetery in St. Paul.
