Rose Marie (DeHart) Sieracki Ash, age 74, of New Richmond, formerly of Balsam Lake, died April 24 at her home.

Rose Marie (DeHart) Sieracki Ash, age 74, of New Richmond, formerly of Balsam Lake, died April 24 at her home.

Rose was born on Aug. 13, 1937, in Menominee, Mich., daughter of Wilfred and Lucille (Gehler) DeHart.

Rose had a passion for needlework and also enjoyed playing cards with her family, especially the game of Hand and Foot. Her greatest joy was her family.

She is survived by her husband, Dwayne Ash; children Marcus (Lisa) Sieracki of New Richmond, Raymond T. Sieracki of Baldwin, Dawn (Gene) LaMere of Amery, Cheryl Weeks of New Richmond, Scott (Beth) Sieracki of Spring Valley, and Brian (Mindy) Sieracki of Minong; sister, Charlotte (Roger) Kattreh of Manitowoc; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Roxanne Sieracki; twin grandchildren, Jamie and Jonathan Sieracki, and granddaughter Katie Weeks.

A funeral service will take place 12 noon Friday, April 27, at O'Connell Family Funeral Home, 1010 Newton St., Baldwin, with Pastor Arveda “Freddie” Kirk officiating. A visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A reception will immediately follow the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the Hammond Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Adoray Home Hospice.
