Deanna J. Person, age 67, of Emerald, Wis., died Wednesday, April 25, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.
Deanna J. Person, age 67, of Emerald, Wis., died Wednesday, April 25, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.
Deanna was born Dec. 8, 1944, in Baldwin, Wis., to Allen Francis and Ardis Lorraine (Miller) Peterson. She was baptized at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hammond, Wis. Deanna married John Charles Person Feb. 12, 1966, in Hudson, Wis. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, and landscaping.
Deanna was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Melissa Wink.
Deanna is survived by her husband, John C. Person of Emerald; children: Michelle Geist and husband, Greg, of Woodbury, Minn.; Roy Person of Whiteman AFB, Mo.; Mary Wienke and husband, Tim, of Clear Lake, Wis.; Nicole Willet and fiancé, Ron Leslie, of Clear Lake; Jennifer Klinger and husband, Jeff, of Glenwood City, Wis.; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; 10 brothers and sisters: Cynthia Leier and husband, Ben; Robin Lindus and husband, Greg; Gene Peterson; Tom Peterson; David Peterson and wife, Dodo; John Peterson and wife, Cindy; Steve Peterson and wife, Linda; Patricia Shatswell; Allyn Gess and husband, Melroy; and Roxanne Rummel and husband, David. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Monday, April 30, at St. John's Catholic Church with Father Norbert D'Mello officiating. Burial will be in the Baldwin Cemetery, Baldwin. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 11 a.m. until the service.
The Anderson Funeral Home assisted the family.
