Jean Champeau, age 74, New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, May 12.
Jean Champeau, age 74, New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, May 12.
She was born on Aug. 29, 1937, in Somerset, Wis., to Lester and Amanda (Rosenow) Champeau. Jean was a longtime employee of Minnesota Surgical Associates.
She was preceded in death by her father and granddaughter Melissa.
Survived by her mother, Amanda; son, Robert Deering; brothers and sisters, Mary Lou Kohls, Richard (Char) Champeau, Darwin Champeau, Sheila Champeau; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and also several nieces, nephews, and loving relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Somerset. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, at the Cullen Crea Funeral Home, New Richmond, and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Anne's Cemetery. The family would like to thank the St. Croix Health Center for all the loving care they provided to Jean.
