Dick Larson, 76

Alton R. "Dick" Larson, 76, of Menomonie, Wis., died Sunday, May 13, at Good Samaritan Health Systems in Kearney, Neb.

Dick was born May 18, 1935, in Star Prairie, Wis., the son of Alvin R. and Stella E. (Cole) Larson. He graduated from New Richmond High School with the class of 1953. Dick married Sharon L. Dahl on May 2, 1954. He worked at Taystee Bread for 25 years.

Dick was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Menomonie, Wis. His hobby was people; he never met a stranger and always enjoyed chatting with friends.

Dick is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sharon; four loving children and their spouses; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.

Private family services were held at DeWitt Funeral Home in Hastings, Neb.

Memorial services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Menomonie at a later date.
