Derril Thomas Yerigan, age 52, of New Richmond, Wis., died unexpectedly on Monday, June 25, doing something he loved.
Derril Thomas Yerigan, age 52, of New Richmond, Wis., died unexpectedly on Monday, June 25, doing something he loved.
He was born on Dec. 24, 1959, in Madison, S.D., to Gordon and Diann (McCool) Yerigan. Derril was a master scuba diver and loved to go boating and spend time in and on the water. He was an avid pheasant hunter who also loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a co-owner of the New Richmond Insurance Agency.
Preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Survived by his children, Cale and Garret; loving companion, Jane Walsh; parents, Gordon and Diann; sisters, Ann (Todd) Indykiewicz, Sue (David) Seykora; nieces, Leah and Kate Seykora; nephew, Charlie Seykora; also many close family, friends, and business associates throughout the area.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Monday, July 2, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Richmond. Visitation 5-8 p.m. Sunday, July 1, at the Cullen Crea Funeral Home, 307 S. Arch Ave., New Richmond, and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Erin Prairie, Wis. Memorials preferred to a Scholarship Fund that will be set up in Derril's memory.
