Arnt Berg, age 77, Emerald, Wis., died on Thursday, July 5, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
Arnt Berg, age 77, Emerald, Wis., died on Thursday, July 5, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
He was born on Sept. 5, 1934, in Duluth, Minn., to John and Caroline (Peterson) Berg. Arnt was a 40-year employee with the Burlington Northern Railroad and worked for 4 years with the Red River Valley and Western Railroad.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Annette (Heller).
Survived by his daughter, Suann (Jeremy) Dehne; brothers, Arnold and Glen Berg; sister, Carol (Russ) Henrikson; grandchildren, Tanner, Justis, Aspyn, and Anya.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, July 9, at the Cullen Crea Funeral Home, 307 S. Arch Ave., New Richmond, Wis. Pastor Jim Bump officiated and military honors were provided by the New Richmond American Legion Post #80. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment Hillside Memory Garden in Williston, N.D.
