Christine L. Gary, age 40, of Hudson, formerly of Baldwin and New Richmond, passed away Aug. 6 at her residence.

Christine L. Gary, age 40, of Hudson, formerly of Baldwin, passed away Aug. 6 at her residence.

Chris was born Nov. 3, 1971, in New Richmond, to Kenneth and Ruth (Rudesil) Gary. Chris graduated from Glenwood City High School, class of 1990. After high school, Chris was married to Alex Jensen Sr.; though their marriage later dissolved, their marriage was blessed with one son, Alex II. Chris worked for a couple of years as a certified nursing assistant at Maple Manor Nursing Home in New Richmond.

In her spare time, she enjoyed fishing and the peacefulness of the outdoors. She also liked putting jigsaw puzzles together. Chris volunteered for the Baldwin Library for 4 years. She also was a Boy Scout den leader for her son, Alex, when he was younger. Chris especially cherished her time with her son and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her son, Alex II of New Richmond; father, Kenneth (Willie) Gary of Utah; foster mom, Christine McGee of Hammond; mother, Ruth (Randy) Rudsaw; siblings, Glen, Donnette, Rachel, and Laura; friend of 40 years, Autumn Berndt, and friend of many years, Terrie Miller; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Keller grandparents, Brown grandparents, and cousin Carol Ann Schlussler.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at O'Connell Family Funeral Home of Baldwin. A gathering of family and friends will be held 1 hour prior.
