Richard Joseph Shade Sr., "Rich," age 47, New Richmond, Wis., died on Friday, Sept. 21, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Richard Joseph Shade Sr., "Rich," age 47, New Richmond, Wis., died on Friday, Sept. 21, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born on April 20, 1965, in St. Paul, Minn., to Lester and Lenore (Baloga) Shade. He was a Navy veteran and worked for Tilsner Carton. He enjoyed being outdoors, building models, and singing karaoke.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lester; brother-in-law, Ed Fisher.
Survived by his wife, Jodi (Millard) Shade; children, Richard Jr. (Nicole) Shade, Kathryn Shade, Joshua Shade; mother, Lenore Shade; siblings, Michelle Fisher, Cheryl (Daryl) Magnason, Pete (Rachel) Shade; former wife, Shelley; nieces, Ashly, Emily, Samantha, Michaela; and also other relatives and friends.
Funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at the Cullen Crea Funeral Home in New Richmond. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the family in lieu of flowers.
