Donna M. Triebold, age 83, of Emerald, Wis., died Saturday, Oct. 13, at home with hospice.
Donna M. Triebold, age 83, of Emerald, Wis., died Saturday, Oct. 13, at home with hospice.
Donna was born Aug. 3, 1929, in Roberts, Wis., to Walter and Gladys (Burdick) Brown. She was raised in the Roberts area where she worked at Bobbers Restaurant in Baldwin, Wis., where she met Robert Triebold. They later married on June 21, 1950, in Hudson. She went to work at the St Croix Health Care Center and later helped Ruth Hurtgen in catering.
Donna loved fishing, watching wrestling, cooking, and baking. She was very involved in her church, all while farming alongside her husband.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; sons, Robert and Bill; brother, Roy Brown; and sister Beverly Larson.
Donna is survived by daughter, Cathy Bakkestuen; grandchildren, Jason Triebold, Jessica Wichelman, and Brandon Geiger, Dustin Hill and wife Nicole, Tammie Hudalla and husband Jeremy, Courtney Holte and husband Chris, Becky Hill, Kevin Green and wife Jenny, Joseph Green, Stephen Green, and Sara Triebold Green; great-grandchildren, Eric Hoffman, Damon Triebold, Budrick Triebold, Blair Wichelman, Ben Wichelman, Bradley Wichelman, Royce Hudalla, Raini Hudalla, Rozin Hudalla, Rylah Hudalla, Mason Holte, Tripsy Hill, Mylie Holte, Hayden Green, James Green, Brianna Foek, and Bryce Jamison; sisters Lorraine Jensen and Kathleen Schmidt. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her pets Skylar, Lulu, Buttons, George, and Fred.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at the United Methodist Church in Emerald, with Reverend Marybeth Scow officiating. Burial will be in the Warren Cemetery, Twp. of Warren, Wis. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until service.
