Gerald Allen Nelson, age 73, of Star Prairie, Wis., died peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at his home.
Gerald Allen Nelson, age 73, of Star Prairie, Wis., died peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at his home.
He was born on March 15, 1939, in Todd County, Minn., to Harry and Mabel (Emerson) Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Myron Nelson.
Survived by his loving wife, Wanda (Becker); children, Tamra Mahlke, Carrie (Keith) Miller, Jennifer (Tom) Aasmundrud, Amy (Dave) McConnell; sisters, Janet (Paul) Supplee, Carolyn (Steve) Branson; grandchildren, Crystal (Michael) Vagts, Stephanie Deveaux, Adam Mahlke, Montana "MoMo" Miller, Elijah Miller, Brady Aasmundrud, Beau Aasmundrud, Brandon Aasmundrud, Nathan McConnell, Nicole (Jason) Hagedorn, Allitney McConnell, Dietric McConnell; great-grandchild, Racina "Beans" Hagedorn.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond, Wis. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment Clear Lake Cemetery.
