Ronald Waskul, age 67, Somerset, Wis., died on Friday, Nov. 16, at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond, Wis.
Ronald Waskul, age 67, Somerset, Wis., died on Friday, Nov. 16, at Westfields Hospital in New Richmond, Wis.
He was born on May 13, 1945. Ron was a Vietnam veteran and served with the United States Marine Corps as recon leader, lance corporal. He received two Purple Hearts. Ron worked for Bosch Industries for over 20 years.
He enjoyed watching boxing and the wildlife from his picture window at home.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Waskul.
Survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Loyla (Hassel); children, Peter (Kate) Waskul, Margaret (Aaron) Redlinger; brothers, Douglas (Helen) Waskul, Randy (Patty) Waskul; grandchildren, Ethan Waskul, Thomas Waskul, Lauren Redlinger, Charles Waskul, Jack Redlinger.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Somerset. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the Cullen Crea Funeral Home, New Richmond. Visitation also 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
