Virginia Sinesh (Harness), age 76, of New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully at St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond on Thursday, Nov. 22.
Virginia Sinesh (Harness), age 76, of New Richmond, Wis., died peacefully at St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond on Thursday, Nov. 22.
She was born the daughter of Thomas and Esther Harness Nov. 21, 1936, in Millburn, Ill. She grew up in Millburn, graduating from Antioch High School. On Feb. 19, 1955, she was married to George Sinesh and resided in Gurnee, Ill., and had three children. She resided in Gurnee until 1999 when she moved to New Richmond to be closer to her daughter, Jill, and her family.
She was the life of the party at St. Croix Health Center and enjoyed her time there getting to know everyone and making the best of it. She was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs. She also enjoyed watching NFL football with the staff members and residents and cheered for both the Packers and the Bears. She was loving and kind and put others' needs ahead of her own.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Esther, and her son Michael Sinesh.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Jill (Lynn) Dreier; son Jeff (Beth) Sinesh; and her sister, Shirley Nader.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, with visitation from 4-7 p.m., at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 North Cemetery Rd., Gurnee. A private burial service will be on Monday, Nov. 26, with her immediate family members at the Millburn Cemetery.
