Harold R. "Tony" Rosenow, age 83, of New Richmond, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the St. Croix Health Center.
Harold R. "Tony" Rosenow, age 83, of New Richmond, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the St. Croix Health Center.
He was born the son of Richard and Emma (Kiekhoefer) Rosenow in Stanton Township in October of 1929. For over 20 years, Tony enjoyed volunteering at the Heritage Center in New Richmond. He was a hardworking man who loved the outdoors and gardening. Tony also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joan; children, Mick (Shari), Oralee (Gary) Boucher, Jamie (Jenn); grandchildren, Will and Tom Rosenow, Emily and Alex Boucher, Journie, Dawson, Foster Rosenow; siblings Amanda Champeau, Mildred Christopherson; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Emil.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, at First Lutheran Church in New Richmond. Visitation was also Sunday from 1-2 p.m. at the church. Private interment will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are with Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services Beebe Chapel of New Richmond.
