Margaret A. Sicard died Jan. 30, peacefully, at the St. Croix Health Center in New Richmond, Wis.

She was born to Alma (Running) and Herman Wittig on Aug. 3, 1915. She married Elmer A. Sicard on Nov. 3, 1934.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmer; brother Kenneth Wittig Sr.; daughter-in-law Sharon; and two great-grandchildren, Abbey and Zack.
She survived by children: Ron Sicard and Darlene Karrow, Webster, Wis.; Dale and Mary Sicard, Webster; LaVonne and Jim Baillargeon, Somerset, Wis.; Sandy and Tom Godfrey, Backus, Minn.; grandchildren Lisa (Greg) Richert, Terry (Steve) Olson, Debbie (Dean-o) Belisle, Mike (Lisa) Sicard, Amy Sicard, Michelle Baillargeon, Kim Solum, Jamie (Christie) Baillargeon, Heather (Chris) Orth, Wayne (Tracy) Godfrey, and Brent (Laura) Godfrey; great-grandchildren Alex Richert, Alisha Richert, Jake (Vanessa) Benson, Becky (Craig) Hovel, Ryan Sicard, Lance Belisle, Maddie Belisle, Emily Sicard, Cassie Sicard, Monique Bordynoski, Haisley (Jeff) Brenner, Jarod Bordynoski, Gabe Flandrick, Madison Kramer, Ivy Solum, Chelsea Solum, Niccole Solum, Hunter Baillargeon, Landon Baillargeon, Dayton Baillargeon, Farrah Baillargeon, Austin Orth, Jordan Orth, Emily Godfrey, Connor Godfrey, Alyssa Godfrey, and baby boy Godfrey due soon; great-great-grandchildren Sedona and Easton Hoval, Julien, Rina, and Zion Solum, Donavan Solum; brother Miles (Audrey) Wittig; and four nieces and nephews.
Margaret was employed by the Bank of Somerset until her retirement. She then volunteered for the Somerset Senior Center for several years.
She loved playing Kings in the Corner and Rummy with her grandchildren, often sending them home with a baggie full of M&Ms. She played whist with their friends and later solitaire.
She also loved the weekly sing-alongs at the St. Croix Health Center where she was lovingly cared for. Her favorites were "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" and the Christmas carols.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at Christ Lutheran Church in Somerset. Visitation 2 hours prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred. Private interment Oak Grove Cemetery, East Farmington, Wis.
