Donald McConnell, 70

Donald Gene McConnell, Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother, age 70, of Turtle Lake, Wis., passed away on Feb. 23 at Amery Regional Medical Center.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Laura; brother Dick; and sisters Barbara and Betty Anne.

Donald will forever remain in the hearts of his wife, Joanne; children, Dave (Amy) McConnell, Susan (Jason) Higgins, and Dan (Julie) McConnell; grandchildren, Nathan McConnell, Nicole (Jason) Hagedorn, Allitney (Tim) McConnell, Dietric McConnell, Jesse (Shannon) Swanson, Amanda Swanson, Bailee Higgins, Justis McConnell, Deric McConnell, and Emily McConnell; great-grandchildren, Racina Hagedorn and Colton Hagedorn; brother Leroy; sister Janice; and many nieces and nephews.

Don enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, and riding his ATV and motorcycle.

At Don's request, a private memorial will be held at a future date.
