SCC Middle School Veterans Day Program



  • Girl Scout Troops #51932 and 5415 helped with the program.
  • The St. Croix Central Middle School Student Council played a role in the planning of the event.
  • Area veterans were invited to introduce themselves to the school.
  • Erich Weinert, Roberts, is on active duty for the Navy.
  • These veterans served during the WWII era.
  • Erik Fisher, Roberts, will most likely be serving overseas again soon. He's already went to Iraq and Afghanistan.
  • School Board member David Olsen and his father both served in the military.
  • The Girl Scouts gave each of the visiting veterans a poppy.
  • Students were given flags by helicopter pilot Dan Jacobs along with another member of his crew.
