  • The Hammond Public Library collected for 36 different "brigades" or specific types of waste. These bins are for some of those types of waste. Anyone can bring in waste to the library and place it in the correct bin.
  • Some of the waste items the Hammond Public Library collects for TerraCycle include candy wrappers, drink pouch packages, and MOM Brands cereal bags. Johnson said she will be posting pamphlets giving the full list of brigades the Hammond Public Library collects in the library.
