Fatal accident on I-94 Monday afternoon


Emergency responders were still working to clear the scene of the fatal crash an hour and a half after it happened at 1:20 p.m. Monday. It occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-94, just east of the Kinney Road underpass in the town of Hudson.

  • Eastbound traffic on I-94 came to a stop as emergency responders worked to clear the accident at milepost 6. Eastbound traffic was detoured off the freeway at Carmichael Road in Hudson and at Exit 3 (Hwy. 35). These vehicles, including many semi-trucks, were already past Hudson when the eastbound lanes were closed.
