Miss Hammond Candidates

Abbie Constant, Brittany Doornink, Kayla Boyd and Makayla Campion are all competing to be this year's Miss Hammond.


Abbie Constant , daughter of Kelly and Tracy Constant, has lived in Hammond her entire life. She enjoys reading, camping, knitting and spending time with her friends. She is a cheerleader for wrestling and football and is involved in volunteering, Scouting, 4-H and her church.

  • Brittany Doornink, daughter of Aaron and Spring Doornink, has lived in Hammond for eight years. Her hobbies are four-wheeling, hanging out with her friends and family, watching movies and having bonfires.
  • Kayla Boyd, daughter of Kirsty Olson Boyd and David Boyd, has lived in Hammond for four years. She has previously lived in St. Cloud, Minn., Hudson, Bordman and Roberts.
  • Makayla Campion has lived in Hammond for eight years. Her parents are Rachel and Dylan McHenry, Hammond, and Robert Campion of Cottage Grove, Minn.<br /><br />Campion’s hobbies are dancing, camping, walking her dog and spending time with family and friends.
