  • Caelynn Carter (5) got her hair done up in two ponytails and painted pink by area Girl Scouts at their booth at the Running of the Llamas. Carter was one of several children to have her hair done by the Girl Scouts.
  • Stilt-walkers were among the several people who walked in the Running of the Llamas Parade on Sept. 8 before the llama and alpaca races.
  • Another marcher in the Running of the Llamas parade was this large “llama” that followed the llamas entered in the llama race.
  • The llamas and alpacas competed for these prize baskets of fresh vegetables. The llamas that won first and second place, and the alpaca that won first place, each received a prize basket.
