The report was funded by the Fish and Wildlife Service and designed to estimate the number of birds killed by predators, chemicals and collisions with wind generators and windows in the U.S.

Almost 50 Wisconsin school districts are getting less in revenues than they did 10 years ago and two-thirds of those school systems are in Republican Senate districts. That could explain why a number of GOP senators have come out against their governor’s plan to freeze state school aid in the next budget.
