Several dozen residents braved inclement April weather Thursday night to voice their opinions in front of Mayor John Larson and members of the Glenwood City Council regarding a newly proposed nonmetallic mining ordinance intended to replace the city’s existing ordinance.
The New Richmond Park Board is inviting all residents of the New Richmond School District to a Community Public Input meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, from 6:30 - 7 p.m. at the New Richmond Civic Center’s lower conference room #2, located at 156 E. First Street.
It’s been seven years since New Richmond Utilities has changed its rates. Now, thanks to a recently completed rate study conducted by Wisconsin Public Power Inc., rates to residential, commercial and industrial customers will likely be adjusted this summer.
