Ten Presidential Electors designated by the Democratic Party of Wisconsin began meeting at noon today (Friday) at the State Capitol to officially cast Wisconsin’s Electoral College votes for the winner of the Nov. 4 presidential election, Illinois Senator Barack Obama.
What if Barrack Obama’s vice presidential pick had stepped on the convention stage with a 17-year old, unwed daughter five months pregnant? Republican’s would be screaming, “More proof of the failed liberal polices of the Democrats!”

As Sen. John McCain's bus sped past Minnesota corn fields en route to a town hall meeting in Hudson this morning, he said the federal government has no business subsidizing farmers who grow that crop, or any other.
Speaking in Hudson Friday morning, Sen. John McCain drew a strong contrast between him and fellow Republican President Bush over environmental issues. Telling the audience that he traveled to environmentally important areas extensively at government expense, he said global warming is real.
