Accident near Roberts blocks I-94 Thursday afternoon; Minnesota fatal accident also clogs traffic
An accident on westbound I-94 near Highway 65 in Roberts blocked the freeway late Thursday afternoon. The accident, involving a semi and two vehicles, happened at about 4:10 p.m. A fatal accident on I-94 in Minnesota near the Manning Avenue exit also clogged Thursday afternoon eastbound commuter traffic.

ST CROIX COUNTY: Mailboxes Notice
Mailboxes are the only structure that private owners are allowed to install within the right-of-way without a permit as a matter of convenience to the landowners. Neither the St. Croix County Highway Department nor U.S. Postal Service issue written permits for the placement of mailboxes within the public right-of-way.

Crash closes westbound I-94 for six hours
Westbound I-94 east of Hudson was closed for six hours on Thursday, June 7, in the wake of a five-vehicle crash involving two semi tractor-trailers.
Just one person, Mary A. Kielpinski, 63, of Eau Claire was seriously injured in the accident.
