The Hammond Hotel's annual Running of the Llamas was held Thursday, Sept. 11 2008. A record breaking 14 llamas raced this year. The winner was Desde, owned by Mare Kjesetch. Be sure to look at the sound slide of the event, linked below.

The construction of the new Roberts United Church of Christ is right on schedule, according to Pastor Mary Schmotzer.
Construction of the new church began in mid-October and “has been a part of Roberts UCC’s vision for the last 20 years,” said Schmotzer.

For 30 years, Ball has led the New Richmond varsity baseball program. In that time the Tigers won 520 games. Ball’s leadership made New Richmond one of the most successful baseball programs in the state during his tenure.
