Art contest winners

In partnership with the New Richmond City Council, the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 10818 kicked off Arts Appreciation Month with its Young American Creative Patriotic Art Award scholarship contest. The annual event handed out prizes to local winners including first-place finisher Randi Hoyt (Baldwin-Woodville High School), second-place finisher Ali Nichols (New Richmond High School), and third-place finisher Jacob Singerhouse (New Richmond High School).

Jordan Willi is a reporter for the New Richmond News. Previously, he worked as a sports reporter at the Worthington Daily Globe in Worthington, Minnesota. He also interned at the Hudson Star Observer for two summers and contributed to the Bison Illustrated sports magazine at North Dakota State University.
