Trigger Happy, the foursome featuring Karl Ausland, Scott Nash, Mike Murtha and Ed Schmidt, entertained a packed house Wednesday, Aug. 19, as the closing act of the Heritage Center's Hillside Series.

Because of the uncertain weather raging outside, the concert was moved from the bandstand situated on the center's grounds into the pavilion.

Being out of the cold, wet and windy conditions was a good idea for those who attended. They tapped their toes and perked their ears to the melodic tunes of Trigger Happy. With Ausland and Murtha setting the bass line and tempo on drums and bass, respectively, Nash and Schmidt kept the rhythm section smooth and stable.

With the help of guest vocalists, the group moved seemlessly through a variety of standards and popular tunes.
