New Love, Old Love, confused love, renewed love -- it's all there in the upcoming River Falls Community Theater production of "Becky's New Car," Steven Deitz's contemporary comedy is RFCT's winter offering.

It will play at 7:30 p.m. in the gallery area of the River Falls Public Library on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3 and 4, and again on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Feb. 9, 10 and 11. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for seniors 62 and above. All tickets are general admission.

Featuring RFCT regulars and two newcomers "Becky's New Car" is a comedy about the roads we take in life, especially when we come to a fork. Emily Hanson, veteran RFCT actor and director, plays the title role of a car saleswoman whose life takes some unanticipated turns. Jake Jacobson, a perennial in the spring RFCT one-acts, plays Becky's husband Joe, a roofer. Joining them in the role of Walter Flood, a wealthy fellow townsman is Frank Ginther.

The supporting cast includes RFCT veterans local librarian Nancy Miller as Becky's best friend Ginger and Chris Olson as Steve, Becky's co-worker. Rounding out the cast are newcomers to RFCT, Jordan Cassavant and Krista Cleary.

Director Gorden Hedahl is delighted to have such a strong cast. He says, "The chemistry between these players is just right. They'll do a fine job of conveying the feeling and fun of this comedy." Tickets are on sale at the Dish "N Spoon Coffee Shop or at the door. Get your tickets early since seating for this production is limited.
