At the Nov. 18 Somerset Village Board meeting, it was reported that Somerstar Entertainment, under the leadership of Matt Mithun, had failed to make its payment to the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Department, Somerset Police Department and Somerset Fire/Rescue for services rendered during the Summer Set Music Festival held Aug. 15-18.
According to Somerset village deputy/clerk treasurer, the payment of $21,884.36, which was due at the end of September, was made by Mithun Dec. 4.
Had the payment not been made, Somerstar Entertainment was in danger of having its interim conditional use permit revoked for next year’s Summer Set Music Festival.
