Medication disposal, bike and car seat safety events to be held at health fair
Westfields Hospital & Clinic will host the third annual community health fair on its campus on Saturday, May 14, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Mark your calendars and make preparations now to participate in the following special activities:
Medication Disposal Drop-off Event: Hosted by the New Richmond Police Department, the medication disposal drop-off event is the perfect opportunity to properly and safely dispose of old medications. Visit www.co.saint-croix.wi.us for a complete list of accepted medications.
Bike Rodeo: Children in kindergarten through grade six are invited to bring their bikes and helmets and ride a safety course, get a bike inspection and have their helmet fitted. Be sure to bring your own bike and helmet from home.
Car Seat Safety Inspections: A car seat offers no extra safety for your child unless it is in good shape and properly installed. Safety inspections are available from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Call 715-243-2895 in advance to save your spot in line.
The health fair will feature even more informative and fun events for the entire family this year. Highlights include free health screenings, the chance to visit with our care teams, a number of activities for kids provided by PowerUp, free lunch, and more.
