Lamplight entertains and fundraises for homelessness

Lamplight, a concert to benefit T.H.U.G (Truly Humble Under God) Life Ministry, will be performed at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 23, at Roberts Congregational United Church of Christ in Roberts. The Lamplight concert features vocalist Kate Jennings and pianist Judith Permann. The popular songs in the program have been selected with the theme of the love and comforts of home, both to entertain and inspire the audience. Lamplight was designed with the idea of helping a community raise money for its local homeless charity. The Lamplight concert will benefit T.H.U.G Life Ministry, a local nonprofit organization whose main mission is to help homeless and familyless teens in the St. Croix Valley area.

The event is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be taken to benefit T.H.U.G Life Ministry during the concert. The concert is sponsored by the Roberts Congregational United Church of Christ, 1001 Birch Drive, Roberts. Plan to attend for an afternoon of entertainment and generosity.
