Bucks take on Dallas Mavericks tonight in Las Vegas

The Milwaukee Bucks will play their first game tonight in the NBA's Summer League, when they take on the Dallas Mavericks in Las Vegas.

Former Atlanta shooting guard Salim Stoudamire will see his first action in more than a year, after he missed all of last season with groin injuries.

The Bucks will also have Amir Johnson, the young power forward who came from Detroit in the trade that sent Richard Jefferson to San Antonio.

The Bucks' summer roster also includes both their draft choices from this year and last.

But one player they won't have is former Marquette guard Dominic James. He sprained his right knee at practice last Tuesday.

The Bucks were hoping to showcase James to other NBA general managers, after he was left undrafted last month.

Point guard Paul Delaney of Alabama-Birmingham will replace James on the roster. The Bucks will have five Summer League contests through next Thursday. They'll face Cleveland Saturday night.
