Judge tells former Franklin School Board president to stay out of casinos
A judge has told a former Franklin School Board president to stay out of casinos, while she faces misdemeanor theft charges.
Prosecutors said Roseann Lewandowski, 59, was caught on camera stealing a few hundred dollars from the Franklin Little League.
The camera was reportedly set up by a friend who told authorities that Lewandowski took small amounts of money from her purse twice in the recent past.
Lewandowski has pleaded innocent to three charges of theft.
Her next court hearing is Aug. 10, where a deferred prosecution agreement will be considered.
Lewandowski spent 10 years on the Franklin School Board. She also served with many other community groups.
