Bucks' center Bogut could start light contact next week
Bucks' center Andrew Bogut could resume light contact next week, as he recovers from a stress fracture in his lower back.
Milwaukee Bucks' center Andrew Bogut could resume light contact on the basketball floor next week.
It would be a major step, as Bogut returns from a stress fracture in his lower back that forced him to miss the final 31 games of last season.
Bogut, a fifth-year pro, worked out with several of his Bucks' teammates yesterday at the team's training facility.
He also worked on post moves, and did some extra conditioning work.
Last week, Bogut met in Vancouver with sports physio-therapist Alex McKechnie and Bogut said the doctor found posture flaws he can improve.
If all goes according to plan, the 7-foot Bogut says he'll resume full contact in a couple weeks.
He wants to be completely ready when the Bucks open their training camp on Sept. 29.
