Hudson stabbing victim identified

The victim in the stabbing at 637 So. 13th St. in Hudson Thursday morning has been identified as Michael J. Marquard, 22.

He was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul about 9:40 a.m., Thursday, for treatment of stab wounds to his back, shoulder and hand which he apparently suffered in a domestic incident at the Hudson address. He was listed in stable condition Thursday afternoon.

Hudson police arrested Amy Lu Antoinette Christmas, 24, 637 South 13th St., #29. The apartment unit is located just north of the Holiday Station, 1207 Coulee Rd. She was taken into custody minutes after the injured man came to the Holiday station requesting that staff there call authorities.

Christmas was also transported by St. Croix EMS to Hudson Hospital complaining of head injuries. She was later released and taken by Hudson Police to the St. Croix County Jail and booked on attempted homicide.

Officers recovered the weapon used in the attack at the scene.
