One-woman show lands at The Space in New Richmond

The SPACE, a centre for creativity announces it's next big show, entitled "Circumference," written and performed by Amy Salloway.

The only class Amy ever failed was physical education. Every single year.

But decades later, far removed by time and geography from demonic Ms. Gleby and the Presidential Physical Fitness Test, why does she still harbor a secret, shameful hatred of thin chicks whose thighs don't rub together. And why does she write herself excuse notes to get out of going to the gym?

This new solo comedy by Amy Salloway, creator of "Does This Monologue Make Me Look Fat?" and "So Kiss Me Already, Herschel Gertz!" was voted a "must-see" when it premiered in the 2007 Minnesota Fringe, and will begin touring the U.S. and Canada this summer.

Her show is scheduled for 8 p.m. March 21 and 22 at The Space in New Richmond. Tickets are $20 and include complimentary appetizers. Call 246-3180 to reserve tickets.
